31 st March 1962. St Mary’s Church Stockport. All went well on this day - apart from the fact it did Snow when we came out of the Church so all the photos there were cancelled - but not only for that reason, the official Photographer from the main local newspaper The Stockport Express never arrived - when it was checked on the following week it was stated that he had gone to St Mary’s Church Cheadle by mistake !!!!!!

So the only photos we had of this great day were what were taken by Guests who had cameras with them.

Right. The first photo of us as a married couple, this was taken outside the Alma Lodge where we had the reception, this was when Alma Lodge was one of the most prestigious Hotels in Stockport.
